Anyone who has called Pizza Box in Portsmouth to order some pizza recently has likely talked to Kurtis Vosquez. He is the new owner, and he tries to explain that the Port Norfolk staple is temporarily closed.
He asks them to hang in there, because Andora’s Pizza Box is getting “revamped” and will soon reopen as simply The Box.
The modest pizzeria is tucked away in the historic Port Norfolk neighborhood. The space has room for a couple of tables, some bar seating and the kitchen area in the back, where the smell of marinara and melted cheese wafts through the room.
