Bulgaria and Romania are set to begin the issuance of short-term Schengen visas April 1 onwards, for foreign nationals entering the Schengen Area, reported SchengenVisaInfo.Clarifying for Fragomen, officials of the EU said that both countries, Bulgaria and Romania, are expected to start issuing Schengen C visas that permit entry and stay in the area for up to 90 days within a 180-day period, from April 1, 2024, the report said.
