A ball to raise funds for the Pandora Project domestic abuse charity has been put back to next year.
The annual black-tie event was held last year at the Duke’s Head hotel on Tuesday Market Place, raising thousands for the charity that helps women and children who have experienced domestic abuse.
With a three-course meal, entertainment, an auction and music the event was due to happen again in May at a different venue, Knights Hill, but due to lower ticket sales, apportioned to the cost of living crisis, it has been postponed until 2024.
