John J. Long
John J. Long, 76, of Lansdale, passed away August 21, 2011 at Abington Health – Lansdale Hospital with his family by his side. He was the husband of Margaret A. (Briggs) Peggy Long, his wife of 51 years. Born November 16, 1934 in Roxborough, he was a son of the late Lester L. and Helen (Maguire) Long. Mr. Long was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church in Hatfield. He began his career as an auto technician in the 1950s during which time he developed his love of cars.
