The third phase of decarbonization of DPD Portugal’s fleet has begun with the purchase of 80 100% electric Ford E-Transit vans that will be rolled out by the end of this year. The new vehicles take DPD Portugal’s current fleet of fully electric vehicles to 207 across 14 cities in the country.
The E-Transit was chosen thanks to its 300km range and 15.1m3 load capacity, as well as its advanced connectivity solutions. The new vehicles will help DPD and its parent company Geopost achieve the sustainability target of net zero by 2040.
