During the Second Political Consultation in Dhaka, Bangladesh and Italy decided to further develop their bilateral ties.
A memorandum of understanding was signed by the two friendly nations on 7th June 2023, in Rome, to officially start the Political Consultations. The fact that the second round of political meetings was held precisely a year later is evidence of the strong bilateral relationship between the two countries.
